Giacomo Zanus - dear Palomar

instrumental

Italian guitarist Giacomo Zanus produces a transportive six minutes of breezy instrumentalism on "dear Palomar", an early release from the artist's upcoming album "wandering away is safer than getting lost on your own". Uplifting and easy-on-the-ear guitar phrasings are backed up by twinkling brushed drums, trodden bass, and an arrangement that heads towards momentous moments of feedback and intense delay as the melody plays on, all without ever getting carried away.

Bison Rouge - Her Salt

alternative

Entrancing cellos and soulful vocals come together with balmy electronics and treated percussion on "Her Salt", the title track to Bison Rouge's sublime new album. There's an urban, urbane execution to everything here, from the soft production and razor-focused vocal delivery to the cello that brings an exotic and expressive flair to this rich track.

Kat Davids - Manavgat

electronic

Menacing flourishes of sythemtic sounds roam freely on "Manavgat", a blistering cut from the recently released winterswell EP from German producer Kat Davids. This menacing overtone conjures sensations of an underworld marked by ritualistic dance. The drums are propulsive yet sound like they are regurgitating on themselves. Industrial markings make this track ready for the laundryhouse or for those moments when your darkened soul needs to dance.
